A nephrologist from Zagreb, Croatia, he serves as Head of the Dialysis Department and Head of the Department of Healthcare Quality Assurance at Dubrava University Hospital. 

He is also the Secretary of the Croatian Society of Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation. 

His main areas of interest include chronic and acute hemodialysis, apheresis, and interventional nephrology.
