Prof. Yasser Wali
Professor and Head of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit in the Child Health Department at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. He is a member of the Pediatric Education Committee in Oman Medical Specialty Board, responsible for training pediatric residents in Oman.Dr Wali trained at the Alexandria Children’s
University Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt, and completed his master’s and doctoral
degrees in pediatrics from the same university.
He gained his membership of
the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) certification and was elected as a fellow
of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH UK) in 2005.
As an
associate editor and reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals, Dr Wali has
extensive experience in publications, including over 160 peer-reviewed journal
publications and 400 abstracts and presentations at international and local
meetings.
