Dr. Arwa Al-Yamani is a leading Consultant in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs. With over two decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience, she has made significant contributions to pediatric cancer care and hematologic disorders in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
A Canadian Fellowship graduate from the University of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, Dr. Al-Yamani is recognized for her expertise in managing complex pediatric hematology and oncology cases, and for her dedication to improving patient safety and clinical quality standards as Deputy Chair of Oncology Quality and Patient Safety.
She serves as the Secretary General of the Saudi Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Society (SAPHOS) and Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia Society, reflecting her active role in advancing research, education, and awareness in the field. Dr. Al-Yamani has participated in numerous international research studies, authored several publications, and is a frequent speaker at regional and global scientific conferences.
