Experience TCT® Plus Middle East 2026 through The Dr. Wael Al Mahmeed Travel & Research Grant, designed to make the conference accessible for delegates with limited resources. This grant supports equitable participation by helping remove financial barriers to attendance.

Key Dates

  • Application Deadline:  February 03, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: Ten (10) grant recipients will be informed by March 03, 2026.  Early notice will not be provided.

 

What the Travel Grant Includes

  • Complimentary registration to TCT® Plus Middle East 2026.
  • USD 1,000 contribution towards travel and accommodation expenses.


Eligibility

Healthcare professionals from all countries are invited to apply. Industry Professionals are not eligible to apply.

Priority consideration will be given to:

  • Applicants presenting an accepted abstract or challenging case at TCT® Plus Middle East 2026.
  • Applicants who are 40 years old or younger.
  • Individuals with a robust history of indexed publications within the past five years.

       

Required Documents

  • Completed Online Application
  • Personal Statement/Letter of Intent: Explain why you should be considered for the travel grant. Highlight your professional goals, how attending the conference aligns with your career development, and the potential impact on your field.
  • Letter of Support: A letter of support from the applicant’s program director or director is required.
  • Current Curriculum Vitae (CV): Professional CV outlining your publications.
  • Certifications: Copies of your professional certifications.

All documents must be submitted in PDF format and in English (or accompanied by an official translation)

Conditions

  • Reimbursement Details:
  • Reimbursements will be issued on the final day of the conference, contingent upon full attendance and participation.
  • Reimbursement is subject to timely submission of all required documentation.
  • Grant recipients are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
  • Additional details and requirements will be provided in the acceptance letter.
  • Applicants are responsible for their own administrative arrangements (e.g., visa, study leave).
  • Recipients are encouraged to finalize travel arrangements promptly upon acceptance.
  • Applications and acceptances are non-transferable.
