We are pleased to offer a limited number of Educational Grants to support healthcare professionals attending this year’s conference.

Please carefully review the following eligibility criteria and important updates:


🔹 GIS Grant – Eligibility & Criteria

  1. Eligible Subspecialties:
    Applicants must be specialized in one of the following areas:

  • Cardiology
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Chest Disease
  • Cardiovascular Medicine
  1. Professional Recommendation:
    A signed and stamped recommendation letter from the head of the department (hospital or university) is required.

  2. Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV):
    Applicants must submit an updated CV clearly outlining their qualifications, current position, and relevant clinical or academic experience.
  3. Program Attendance:
    Attendance of at least 80% of the scientific program is mandatory for reimbursement eligibility.

  4. Grant Inclusions:

    • Full complimentary registration

    • Reimbursement for:

      • Accommodation (up to 3 nights)

      • Economy class flight ticket (as per destination-specific maximum reimbursement limits)

    Reimbursement is processed following approval of your submission and attendance.


🔹 New Requirement – Abstract Submission for Grant Applicants

To increase your chances of receiving the GIS Educational Grant, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract as part of their application.
This initiative aims to promote scientific engagement and knowledge sharing among participants.

  • Submitting an abstract is not mandatory, but it will significantly strengthen your grant application.
  • Submitted abstracts will be reviewed for potential oral or e-poster presentation.
  • Being selected for presentation will enhance your visibility and professional contribution to GIS 2025.

🔹 Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Language:

  • All abstracts must be written in clear English.
  • Presenting authors should be proficient in English.

2. Submission Format:

  • Word count: Maximum 250 words
  • Title: Max 10 words, properly capitalized (not bold)
  • Include up to 3 keywords

3. Abstract Tracks

  • Cardiology
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Chest Disease
  • Cardiovascular Medicine

4. Content Requirements:

  • Background
  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Key Results
  • Conclusions

5. Submission Rules:

Abstracts must be submitted through the official online link

  • All co-authors must approve the submission
  • Do not include references or graphics/images
  • In clinical studies, indicate whether informed consent was obtained

6. Publication & Presentation:

  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the official GIS Abstract Book
  • Presenting authors will be notified of selection for oral or e-poster presentation and receive detailed guidelines accordingly

7. Presenter Agreement:

  • The abstract has not been previously published
  • GIS 2025 has the right to publish accepted abstracts in print or electronic formats
