Chief of Plastic Surgery at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona. He earned his MD (1994) and PhD (cum laude, 2008) from the University of Barcelona, with a thesis on facial fat grafting in HIV-related lipoatrophy. A pioneer in fat grafting and regenerative surgery, he co-founded the Spanish Society of Fat Transplantation (SETGRA) and has published extensively. He was awarded the Sherrell J. Aston Award by the ASAPS for his contributions to fat-grafting research. He is a member of FILACP and SECPRE, and his clinical focus includes breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, and regenerative techniques.
