Prof. Horacio F. Mayer

Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, where he directs the Plastic Surgery Residency and Breast Reconstruction & Oncoplastic Fellowship Programs. He has served as a visiting professor at leading institutions worldwide and is Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Mayer is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and active in multiple international societies, including ICOPLAST, FILACP, ASPS, and ISAPS. He has authored numerous publications and lectures globally, and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
