Plastic Surgeon specializing in microsurgery, breast implant safety, and global collaboration. He helped establish the Dutch Breast Implant Registry and ICOBRA and is a founder of ICOPLAST and past Chair of the Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery.
Since September 2025, he leads the Department of Plastic Surgery at Groningen University Hospital, focusing on innovation, surgical efficiency, big data, and multidisciplinary microsurgery.
